Put One Foot in Front of the Other

This will be my last post for awhile, and I'm shutting my Etsy store down for awhile. But not because of endings, because of new beginnings!

I'm currently in San Francisco where I'm enrolled in the JTI program at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts. I've been here a few days and just finished the basic prerequisite course. It's very challenging for someone with my level of professional jewelry skills (that is, none), but totally worth it! This school is *the* place to go to learn the skills required for working in the jewelry industry.

And that is what I plan to do after the course ends in December. Well, my first choice would be to apprentice with a goldsmith, but I'm not sure how often that happens in the United States anymore.

I don't believe one is ever too old to start a new career.
